HMG - MR Simulator

A MR based Machine Gun simulator made for the Varjo XR-3. The experience is setup with a green screen on which the MR content is displayed. Features a real gun from which trigger, position data is recieved and reflected inside of the simulator [serial ports].

The specifications have to be as generic as possible because of an signed NDA: The ballistics have been coded to simulate real gun's ballistics as much as possible. From the gun's specifications to the bullet's specifications are all accurately done.

The bullet has a specified ballistic coeffecient: takes in form factor, mass, diameter etc.

The gun also can have additional spread, different fire modes, switching of the ammo/bullet-types depending on the configuration.

Has multiple modes of training too, from zeroing to tactical marksmanship all in accordance to the [redacted] Army specifications.

The full interface also has CRC-16 checksums at both the reciever and the sender to ensure full data integrity.
